Rule 23

Small launches or tenders only need to show an allround white light, but they may show sidelights.
Power-driven vessels less than 20m in length show a sternlight, masthead light and bicolour side lights. The sidelights may be separate.
Power-driven vessels between 20 and 50m show a sternlight, masthead light and separate sidelights. This may give some indication of the vessels length when seen from ahead.
Power-driven vessels of more that 50 metres, show a stern light, two masthead lights and separate sidelights.
