Jane Chambers was a marketing graduate working for a multi-national company in the heart of Dublin. Unfulfilled with her life she ditched the city and headed off on a surf and snow adventure. While in Cornwall she met Myles a fine art drop out who had quit Uni to be a safari guide and was now funding his own surf and snow exploration and chefing around the world. After five years of travel together they decided to settle down. An ad in a newspaper for a beachside café in need of affection came at just the right time and certainly caught their attention. A move to Strandhill on the rugged Irish coast followed. A year later Shells has proved to be a great success with a cult following as a flourishing eatery catering for the outdoorsey creative patrons with delicious wholesome natural foods and as Jane says We haven't looked back since.
